$20M Road Project officially opens before the holiday

The roadway project that cost $20M and wasn’t supposed to be finished for another three months is now open as of 15 December, 2016. Evans Street is used by an estimated 13,500 people daily. With two new lanes added and more accessibility to Maroochydore and its attractions many residents I am sure are elated that the construction is complete and now they can enjoy the new and improved Evans Street. The best part is that it is finished right before Christmas so everyone can resume their normal routines. More minor landscaping changes will happen early 2017.
